WHY YOU SHOULD HAVE CAVITATION?

Cavitation breaks down fat cells by using ultrasound. If you think of the fat cells as grapes, and you put pressure on them they will eventually burst and the juice inside will escape.  This is what’s happening to your fat cells, hence the fat reduction.

Your fat is going into your lymphatic system where you will then wee it out. This may sound painful but it’s actually painless, you will lose inches instantly. With no downtime or surgery involved!

So that your skin remains firm and to aid lymphatic drainage, radiofrequency with led light therapy is then performed to tighten and lift skin. This will also aid in the appearance of cellulite and the skin’s texture.

WHERE CAN YOU TREAT WITH ULTRASOUND CAVITATION?

With Ultrasonic Lipo Cavitation, only one area can be treated in one session. After 72 hours, you can treat the same area or a different area. Areas that can be treated include - Abdomen, Upper arms, Buttocks, Hips and Thighs.

Consultation is essential

A consultation is always required before initial treatment can commence and the cost is redeemable against your first treatment. I strongly suggest that you have this about a week before your first appointment as pre-treatment advice will be given and it will give you chance to prepare so you will gain the most out of your fat reduction treatment.

A course of 6 to 12 treatments are recommended to gain effective body contouring, this will be discussed in your consultation.

WHO CAN’T HAVE ULTRASOUND CAVITATION?

If you have any of the following health conditions you will not be able to have Ultrasonic Cavitation:

• Poor circulation (blood and lymph)
• Fever
• Alcohol or drug abuse
• Heart conditions
• Pacemaker fitted
• Thrombosis
• Epilepsy
• Pregnancy or immediately after pregnancy
• High cholesterol
• Liver disease
• HIV or AIDS
• Under 18 years of age
• Breastfeeding

If you have any of the following health conditions you will not be able to have Ultrasonic Cavitation without a letter of consent from your GP or medical practitioner:

• Skin disorders
• High or low blood pressure
• Diabetes
• Cancer or after recovery from cancer until off medication for 12 months and have GP approval before commencing on cavitation treatment
• Thyroid disease or other hormonal disorders
• Any medication that affects liver function
• On regular prescription medication

Treatment can go ahead but will need to be modified if you have any of the following:

• Varicose veins
• Deep bruising
• Swollen joints
• Broken bones (if the break is under 6 months old then no treatment to that area)
• Metal implants
• Cuts and abrasions
• During menstruation (no treatments to abdomen permitted)
